Hello guys,

I have noticed that avast firewall blocks accessing to https sites for ex. Facebook and gmail, just every https url but after disabling avast firewall i found no problems with https sites.

so i have tried disabling web shield and nothing happens, i am sure the problem from the firewall and you can see that in the firewall logs, btw there is no problem accessing https sites in internet explorer, this problem with firefox (current ver 17.0.1).

you can see pics in Attachments...

i hope you can solve this problem, thx...

It sounds more like a FF issue than avast. What happens when you roll back to an earlier version of FF?  :)

sorry guys for 2nd reply, i found the solution for this problem: Firewal > Application Rules > Mozilla Corp. > Firefox then change outbound ports from 80 to All, but i think this should be default to allow accessing to https sites.  ;) and thanks Para-Noid for replying.

you donĀ“t have to open all ports. just 80,443

https use the port 443
