• Many accessibility improvements: It’s incredibly important to ensure that our browser can be used by everyone and anyone
• NEW Made it easier to find the setting to turn on the full URL option. It can be found in the settings menu, before it was more hidden and required you to right click the omnibox.
• NEW Extensions are now easily accessible in the main 3-dots menu on the top right side of the browser - before extensions were only accessible under the “More Tools”
• Improved the overall stability of the Browser

Avast Secure Browser für Mac Beta-Test [90.0]

Changelog/Fixes:
• NTP Speed - Significantly increased the new tab load speed with some clever static resource management
• FLoC disabled - we will be releasing some more info on our decision behind this soon
• HTTPS Encryption - Chromium v90.0 introduces a new way of handling HTTPS requests. We have incorporated this approach and plan to replace our existing mechanism via HTTPS Everywhere extension, this will reduce our resource footprint.
• Improved the overall stability of the Browser
• Improved speed and stability of Avast Sync
• Other Chromium 90 fixes, including 37 security fixes
• Minor design improvements and fixes
• Fixed some minor Dark Mode Security and Privacy Center issues
• Accessibility improvements in Security and Privacy Center features

• When using Bank mode, you are now even better protected from malware and tracking software as we have enabled and disabled extensions and services
• We have updated our Essential mode of our Avast Adblock, to make sure that you get the best experience when browsing the web
• The new Essential Mode now includes an additional allowlist that will allow Industry Approved ads to be shown that follow your own preferences and likes
• We are introducing our new Avast Addons store (https://addons.avast.com) to English speaking users, it will be rolled out to other users in the following months
• New extension manager - this makes it easier to manage and control extensions from your toolbar top right, offered as a feature of Chromium
• Dark Mode is here, you now can choose in Avast Secure Browser in which mode you want to use your browser. Go to Settings > Appearance > Browser colors
• Newsfeed and Weather widget were released to some of our English speaking users, more users will get these features in the following weeks/months
• Further improvements to your New Tab speed and faster loading of Onboarding

• [New] Cycling Tabs Setting - setting that allows you change CTRL + TAB behaviour to cycle through recently visited tabs instead of in order
• [New] Enabled Reading List - When you want to save a page to read later you can add to a new reading list instead of bookmarking the page. To add a page to your reading list, click on the bookmark star icon on the right-hand side of the address bar. The page will then be added to your reading list on the right of your bookmark bar.
• [New] Phalanx AMSI connector - If you don’t have Avast or AVG Antivirus installed, ASB will now use 3rd party Antivirus engines for threat detection and scanning. This provides an extra layer of security for those who don’t have Avast or AVG Antivirus installed.
