Thought it was a safe application until I looked at the WoT rating. Please give your opinions on the matter as to whether I should be worried. I'll be retrieving logs in a bit. *sigh* :(

Edit: Updated with logs.

As the application is mentioned by Wikipedia it should be OK. From what source did you install? See: https://www.virustotal.com/url/d8197dcd27e9a77b31d1e90a957c6052bcefc1f2a018ed471b54a034f6f0b553/analysis/
IP address has been seen by at least 1 honey pot, but this should not mean not into any bad events,

Installed directly from their site link I got to their site from what was linked on Wikipedia. I will note that there were additional applications which you could accept or decline to install when running it's installer, specifically what appeared to be an antivirus program I did not recognize... I think. I cannot quite remember what I saw, but I declined them whatever the case.

Also looking at those WoT ratings... One of the people who called it malicious also linked to a clearly malicious site. Could just be spam. And of course some people DO install good programs from non-legitimate sources, then blame the legitimate website. Also I installed it because it was mentioned by a friend, but I'm always questioning whether they know well enough to be careful of malicious programs anyway.

Edit: Also, searching for it brings up it's own Google plus profile. Probably fine, but I'm paranoid as usual. It didn't set off Comodo or Avast either.

Doing a little searching and I think the programs you opt out of may genuinely be malicious and the cause of complaints.

As it was from SoftLayer Technologies it could have come with undesirable bundled software via their API-client...but the main application should be without issues...

Well I at least hope it doesn't try installing anything under my nose.

Hi VicVegas,

If essexboy, our qualified removal expert and instructor, says it is the original without any uninvited crap then I would not worry one sec and enjoy the software as it was intended,

Thanks for giving me the all clear.  :D

I uninstalled it anyway though (before posting logs btw), seeing as I really don't think I'll be using it and I'm better off keeping the hard drive space. Steam keeps causing fluxes in it's size for some reason.

And sorry I'm always such a worrywart.  :-\
