it is normal.....
files that can not be scanned are just that, no more no less. It does not mean they are infected
avast is just giving you a scann error report and the reason why. In your case, password protected
many programs protect there files with passwords, usually security programs but also others like adobe....
you may do some house cleaning with CCleaner it may remove some of these if they are located in temp folders
