Hello all! I've scoured the forums looking for a definitive answer to a question and I'm a bit confused by some of the information from posts dating back to November so I'm posting this now.
All of the power settings on my Windows 8 computer are set to shut down when I'm through using it -- not hibernate, not sleep. With hybrid boot enabled, Avast will not automatically update when turning on the computer. The workaround appears to be either rebooting the computer or simply disabling hybrid boot. Is this indeed the case or has someone actually made some power setting changes which allow Avast to automatically update when first turning on a computer with hybrid boot engaged?
