When do I get the box to re-register free Avast?

The fact that it hasn't worked for you doesn't mean it won't for others or they are lucky.

I just now installed the free Avast program. When I activate it, it will show the "Register" button, but when I click on the button nothing happens. I am connected to a wifi service when I do this.

If it doesn't work, use the Off-line registration.
