Difference between "normal" and "high" in new Web Shield
« on: February 19, 2005, 12:45:27 PM »
Hi *,

today I updated to the new 4.6-603 which includes the new Web Shield. It seems to work correctly with Mozilla and even my blocked IE is still blocked (non existent localhost proxy).

But I am wondering what is the difference between the "normal" and the "high" setting of this provider?

For WebShield, there's no difference between Normal and High (as far as I can tell).
The same applies e.g. to IM and P2P Shields.

That said, WebShield has quite rich configuration options. Open them by using the Customize button on the Detailed view of the providers (On-Access Scanner Scanner Control dialog).

Cheers
