avast! engine and definitions update!

Hello Friends,

Im having a question
I have recently renewd my license so far so good
But when i checked for regular definitions
It goes automatic but sometimes few minutes sometimes a hour but also couple of days he dont update the definitions
When i check manualy for definitions updates, he download and install the updates, but normaly that goes automatic right?
The streaming updates working great!
Im i worried now for nothing or is there in my case a problem?

updates are usually released twice a day.....more if needed, and some days none
streaming updates happens.....when needed

avast check for updates just after startup, and then every 240min (default settings)
if a new update have been released it will be downloaded
update history. http://www.avast.com/virus-update-history


i would not worry unless avast display a error
