News (nntp) scanner and "AutoRedirect=0"

I use the "AutoRedirect=0" in the [MailScanner] section on XP (to avoid some problems I had with the new transparent mail-scanner).

But then the NNTP scanner does not work. Even when checked in the Mail scanner setup. Is there anyway to get passed this?
