avast virus definition version doesn't update

Hy m chetn i use avast!free antivirus version 7.0.1474 and vps version 121031-0                                                                                                                                                                      But virus definition doesn't update plz help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

¿ Which Windows, Spk, bit do you use ?
¿ Any other security program before you installed Avast! and now ?

Repair Avast!:
With XP

Start > Control panel > Add & Remove programs > select avast! and click " Change/Remove ". Look for " Repair " and click it.

With Vista or win7

Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs & Features > uninstall a program > select avast! and click " Uninstall/Change ". Look for " Repair "

Reboot when finished.

i use window xp sp2 32 bit i already try to repair the avast but it show error "Error processing packages use full update"   tell me other thing

1. Download avast! Free Antivirus: http://files.avast.com/iavs5x/avast_free_antivirus_setup.exe
2. Follow instructions: http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed avast! versions..!!)
3. Reinstall avast! with the downloaded installer from point 1.
4. Reboot.

PS: You also should update your XP to SP3...!!!
