Avast Incompatible with PlayOn

PlayOn is a DLNA server that runs as a service.
It will not start if Avast is enabled.
If i disable Avast it runs when computer starts as expected.

I have even excluded that dir in settings and set avast to run after services are loaded but that doesn't help.

I realize that this is a fairly old post (almost a year) but I have had PlayOn for quite some time with no problems. Recently though I am getting warnings that PlayOn has a bad reputation among users.... I am currently trying to figure out why.
