After a virus detection
« on: February 03, 2013, 12:03:54 PM »
Hello,

I'm wondering what I have to do when Avast detected a "severe" virus threat like NSIS Ezula-CY after a Boot-time scan. Ok, I moved the files in the chest, but when I search on web about this kind of viruses, they tell me virus like that modify registry keys, other files etc. and generally there are some "removal procedures" including safe-boot, removing registry keys etc...
Does moving infected files in the chest is enough to remove entirely the virus or I have to follow additional procedures, and if yes, can Avast Antivirus guide me, so I haven't to find it on the web by myself?

Thank you very much and best regards
