Code80246008
« on: February 04, 2013, 10:01:10 PM »
Not sure if I can get help with this, but it's worth a shot. For quite some time now I've been trying to update my computer but I keep receiving this error message with code80246008. I've already done what MS suggests, but still no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

It says I have Windows 7 Home Premium, and I tried those options, but no luck.

Try

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/916251

First do the method one and try Windows update, then if the error gets shown again, try method two.

Here's another fix:

Make sure that before you do this fix, that you first back up your registry just in case.
