AEA - Build Standalone Agent Installer
« on: February 04, 2013, 10:45:05 PM »
I've built an installation agent that can be used via AEA and the deployment task.  How can I run an installer individually through windows?  Is there a method of running a stand alone installer and then pointing the agent to the server?

There is a Standalone client download link in the sticky thread at the top for SOA and AEA

I'm currently on testing stage with AEA and I'm down to creating a package and I'm a bit lost where to grab the initial file to make the package. I have two option the "avast! Endpoint" and "Avast! Mirror". Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Choose the avast! endpoint.  The mirror is only needed when  you want to install a 2nd level mirror which the clients would point to for their updates. This is done in environments when trying to decrease the size of bandwidth. The customer will install  the mirror so the clients do not point at the same system where the Console is for the updates.
