I ran across a picture CD i had from 2006 or so...copied the pic's to my hard drive and the pics had an extra extension on them (picture.jpeg.vsb). AVAST detected the virus and has moved ALL of my picture and music files to the virus chest. There are still files in my documents that have that extra .vsb attached to them. When I open AVAST and go to the virus chest...AVAST basically becomes unresponsive.
I need to:
1. remove whatever this 7 year old virus is from all of my files and,
2. clean my files that have been moved to the virus chest.
How do I accomplish this?
