is it a USB keyboard?  people have reported problems, a search for USB keyboard brings up, for example:

If theres no solution to fix it then:

If its USB keyboard, and is PS/2 (standard connector) compatible?, then using a USB to PS/2 converter (as supplied or obtained from a shop) may help.
