On virus detection: no possibility to choose "no action"?
« on: February 13, 2013, 10:56:21 AM »
Situation:
With the File System Shield settings "Actions" set to "Ask", avast! only offers 3 options when a virus/ suspicious file is detected (see attached screenshot):
Move to Chest; Delete; Block.

Problem:
It is neither possible (a) to choose "no action", nor (b) can  the file easily be added as an exception.

Question:
Is this a "feature" or do I miss how (a) or (b) could be achieved?

I think I have checked all possible settings.

(avast! Free 2013, 7.0.1474.765 on Win7 Pro x64)

Yes, that is what I would expect.
BTW: I am working with an administrative account (i.e. the "normal" Win7 account), not a restricted account.

Updated screenshot above (the described behavior was seen on ALL alerts so far, not only this file)
