Hi all,

sorry if this has been asked before (didn't find it)

How to make a backup of "your settings hard reset proof" on Android-4.1.1 with rooted anti-theft? Is there a tool provided by avast?

Hello,

if your idea is to backup the settings so you don't have to do them again after, for example flashing a new rom and reinstalling Anti-Theft, I can't recommend anything since we don't offer this.

If i got you wrong, please describe the question more clearly.

thank you,

Werner

If you're backing up the settings in a file and then flash a new rom then the backup isnt there anymore.

How about saving the backup to an external sd card? Just as an option?

My experience is that a new installation of AT is better.
I've tried to restore the app+data after a ROM flash and it simply did not work. Shows as running but it was not activated.
