Didn't solve the problem.
Having tried various things in the past, I am not willing to spend more time with it. Normally I have no need to print from SafeZone, but when on a trip with my laptop I might need to print.
I have Kaspersky IS on my main computer. KIS has a SafeMoney module which does permit printing. When this license runs out for Avast, I will probable put KIS on the laptop. It is less expensive to buy an AV that will license of 3 computers.

I guess Avast is a "work in progress." Maybe V8 will work out the bugs with the sandbox and SafeZone.

Regards,
Jerry

1 month ago ago, I received confirmation that the printing problem
would be resolved in version 8, but I have no way of knowing if it was placed in
practice :(

I'm seriously done with testing any new programs.

if you are afraid i suggest you follow your own advice (see quote above)
or get another comp that you are not afraid of breaking, so you have that to play with

No one is able to give you a definitive answer, they don't know exactly what is on your system and how it might interact with the program.

If you don't have a robust backup and recovery strategy (minimal hard disk imaging software or running a second computer as a test system or running a virtual OS on the existing system), experimentation is always going to involve risk.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.2.6105 (build 24.2.8918.824) UI 1.0.799/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

Thanks for your reply.

I started to install it but when it got to the part where it said I would be disconnected from the internet I didn't go any further.
