Win32:Malware-gen threat noticed on scan
« on: February 21, 2013, 05:24:16 AM »
So as I was trying to print something today, avast popped up to tell me it was blocking something. Not sure what it was, I ran a scan. It came back with 9 "threats."
I ran Malwarebytes and did not come back with any infected files.

Ran avast a second time, only receiving 2 errors: C:\Program Files\Lexmark Pro200 &  System32\DriverStore\File Repository. Much of this stuff is a little over my head, and I'm wondering how serious (if at all) these threats are.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Unfortunately, it wouldn't allow me to remove to the chest. It said either Error communicating with chest (something along those lines) or access is denied. I don't have the exact file name, so I would have to check when I get home. I assume this has been a recurring problem, but I have no idea why it wouldn't let me move it to the chest.
