Sorry i dont know.
I have no solution found except to turn on the webshield again :-)
In my opinion Avast is adjusted by a quick update of the situation (due to a streaming update).

That`s a pitty.

On my desktop there aren`t any problems with avast. With my wife`s laptop too.

But the laptop for my little niece this problem is still present. I want to bring today
the laptop to her but i want to have this problem solved.

Using the avast 8 3rd beta version on all computers.

Disiabled comodo firewall, no go.

Started cc cleaner to set of the webrep in explorer and google chrome....no go...

Same problem since I get a new computer (1 month) (on windows 8 with avast 7) :
Some time internet stop to work and i get to stop agent web to continue to surf (but if I remember, https still work).
Then, some time reactivate the agent web solve the problem, some time its still to bug until computer restart.

Why are you still on Beta 3 when we are currently on RC 2 http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=115499.0

If your niece's computer still has issues I would suggest clean installing the latest RC 2 version.

Delete all avast rules in comodo firewall, restart computer, create new rules....
Any change?

It works fine now with web shield on. Thanks Avast for the quick fix.
