Is there anyway to add an url to an exemption list?

Today Avast free edition as started to detect the update check as a virus or something and blocks the check (warnings come up). It's just started today.

So is there a way I can get it to exempt the url? Or do I wait until the next update?

Thanks all.

What URL? Please post the URL making it hxxp or hzzp, at least make it un-clickable.  :)

Is there any easy way to copy the url in the blocked connections as its a massive url?

I copied part of it here hxxp://liveupdate.vision4tsst.com/server/CheckFirmwareVersion (there is more of the url but its techical jargon and its difficult to copy it all).

My CD/DVD drive is the firmware its checking because its a TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-222AL ATA Device

I know its the update thing for my drive as if I click to check for an update the warning comes up again.
