How can i tweak the File System shield to not scan all the files in a folder when i open it? I dont want to disable the shield completely but it slows me down.

file system shield>>settings

I dont understand why would you want to do that..as it will indirectly lower the level of security

i know where the settings are and i altered a few that may cause performance issues but i was wondering if there was a particular setting that did that. i would still like it to scan files as they open its just annoying it seems like everytime i open a folder to do something my computer freezes until it finishes scanning the files in that folder.

if there are certain files or folders you want excluded from the file system shield then you need to add the full path of the exclusion or the folder in the file system shield exlusions and that folder will not be scanned.
