issues are still current with this version?? :http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=117113.0

could you upload the dumps please for avast to find the issues...

go to C:\windows\minidumps

send the dumps to kurtin@avast.com with the link to this topic.

Unless the information in my Avast is wrong, I'm still running Avast 7, so the 8 problems shouldn't affect me.

I'll try and send the minidumps to Avast, but I cannot open them.  So it'll just be the files that show up at that Windows address.  Right now I'm running Avast and a VPN service without problems.  That's not to say that I won't get blue screens later.

If the Avast team gets an email with 12 .dmp attachments, it'll be from me.  I hope THEY can open them.  I do have Blue Screen View, but have no idea how to change their data into a text file.

I've sent the BSODs to the address given.  But I have also completely removed Avast until I'm told the problem has been solved.

Thanks for all your minidumps.
Your system always crashed when it was trying to release some memory (from avast and other drivers). Since you're using avast 7.0.1474 for long time and this version wasn't updated from Oct 30 2012, then you should review other lately installed products, OR it's likely that these BSODs are caused by HW fault (memory, cpu overheating, etc). On contrary, all dumps used the same value in CPU registry, so it may exclude random (HW) crashes -- don't you remember when it started and what you installed about that time? You can also uninstall avast for one week to be sure it's not caused by avast.

I updated today to version 8.0.1482.  I have the paid version of Avast and I'm on Win7.  I've bluescreened twice today.

upload the BSOD's dumps to ftp.avast.com/incoming

dumps should be in : C:\windows\minidumps

give them a unique name and specify name in this topic..

also this can help: http://youtu.be/V2dBAQFETbA

After that do a clean reinstall of avast!:
1. Download avast! Free Antivirus: http://files.avast.com/iavs5x/avast_free_antivirus_setup.exe
2. Follow instructions: http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed avast! versions..!!)
3. Reinstall avast! with the downloaded installer from point 1.
4. Reboot.

I tried to send the minidumps and when I copy them to ftp.avast.com/incoming it says (an error occurred copying a file to the FTP Server. Make sure you have permission to put files on the server). Details: Access is denied.
I have a Acer 5517, Windows 7 AMD Athlon 64
Please help, not very good with computers  :(
