Avast 8 Install: Could Not Register; Cannot Access Account

Today, I installed Avast 8 on my Win7 and XP machines.

Running Malware Bytes as a scanner only; Online Armor.  lean install, safemode, CCleaner clean and reg clean on Win 7 machine.

XP, installed over Avast 7, working ok.

Had to do a manual registration of Avast 8 as Avast on Win 7 would just hang during the registration process when entering password. Still cannot access my account, tells me my email is invalid and just hangs.  Was able to get into my account on my other machine. Info on account was wrong. Anyone else experiencing this??? Would appreciate some advise.

When access thru Avast, account read DISCONNECTED. When I tried to log in, screen just hangs

Asked for a new password since I thought I forgot the PW, when I clicked on email link, I got a server error notice from Avast.

Some things to watch out for - awsclear is changed. I wanted to just bring it up to see the interface and it took control. Rebooted into Safe Mode, could not cancel aswclear w/o running in, took me into a infinite loop of reboots. Forced to install Avast 8 accordingly.

sorry for the trouble. We had some problems on servers, it is fixed now.
