1. Trojan Downloader Win32 1st Bar. gen  Deleted

2-7 all the same :

Local Service\ Local Settings\ Temporary Internet Files \Content IE5 \ LNLYWUGE MediaTicketInstaller (1) cabbed as not a virus . Adware> media Tickets d. No Action taken

That is the info which I could not copy and paste.

Shall i just shut kapersky now and shut down resart and uninstall?

Clean your temp files with ccleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/ccdownload2.php)

Then post a hijackthis log please (http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip)

Did the crap cleaner, but cannot post HJT as I cannot copy and paste anything.

I ahve now uninstalled Avast from CP and got rid of other bits and pieces with Tune Up Utilities and RegSeeker.

However there are still quite a few files in programme files.

Can I just delete them from explorer..otherwise I will be left with remants.

I am not sure how to do this: I do not think it is working..if so another function lost..cannot print, copy and paste, search for files and folders, clicking links does not work....

At the bottom of each reply/post you make on the Forum you will see the following 'Additional Options', click that.
The Section marked Attach: is where you put the info pertaining to the file you want to post. Use the Browse button to locate the file on your computer.

I did that...but it is one of the things not working, I am afraid.

Still need to know..can I delete the Avast files in my C drive. manually? . There is 54MB of them. When I removed Avast from CP add/remove programs, it uninstalled it from my D drive, but left all these files in Cdrive.

I rally need to know as I want to reinstall Avast ASAP
