I have problem that may be in my domain controller or maybe it is an Avast issue not sure?
I have a machine that when I had Avast find all the machines on my network it truncated it to 15 characters. I went ahead and modified the properties for this particular machine and added the last character in and in fact it is the first machine to use my MSI package delivered by my Avast push task. When I got done I noticed this machine is in my Avast Control panel twice and only the 16 character name is green and installed?
So does Avast have a 15 character limit or is this an issue with one of my pieces of hardware?
