Hello....I finally updated my old Avast 7 version to 8 (current version 130309-1) earlier today. The only problem I've had getting red popup "malware" warnings about my windows updater blocked as "malware". It is set to notify me first normally as I prefer to manually select which ones to download.
I still run WinXP SP3 on my five year old Dell Inspiron 530, Intel Core2Duo 2.2. At present, I can't afford another computer. . Microsoft still supports WinXP until 2014 and need to keep my PC "covered" until then.
