Scanning, causes "???? / Running ... "

Hi Pro's.

i've recently seen, that i cannot scan my files anymore.
when i rightclick on a file, press scan with Avast! Antivirus, then it just pops up with a blank windows, and at the same time, it shows me : " / Running ...   0%"

Do you know why?

(i've updated the program to the newest one...)

Well... I'll suggest a repair of your avast! installation (Control Panel), and if it does not work, a full installation from scratch.
