Today I switched from McAfee to Avast Internet Security. I paid for the product online, downloaded the software and licence, installed Avast and all was fine but I have had two messages popping up saying that my subscription for avast internet security has expired! Not a great experience for a new customer. Any idea's what I need to do?

Thanks

Paul

Have you inserted the licence.. You should have received a licence file with your receipt  it may be in the format avast.avastlic
If so then copy it to your desktop and double click to install

No problem, glad that you have it resolved.

Just a point, how did you remove McAfee as previous installations can have an impact if not completely removed.
- Uninstall possible remnants of previously installed AVs see, http://singularlabs.com/uninstallers/security-software/, this has a collection of manufactures removal tools, so that should remove any remnants, registry, etc.
