Google Earth kml - zip file corrupted
« on: April 01, 2013, 06:52:37 AM »
Hi -

I know, the "corrupted" bit simply means Avast! was unable to open it...  BUT:

Ummm, see my sig for hard/soft-ware details.  Google Earth v7.0.3.8542.

We're in Boot-Time Scan here, but this also applies to real-time scans.

When will Avast! be able to open .kml files?  Google Earth uses them for basically everything, and I'm not really turned on by seeing a big long list of them, considering what could be inside them.

It seems the .kml is uncompressed .zip, and .kmz is compressed zip.  I may be wrong, this is Google we're talking about.

Actually, while on the subject, could we sort Microsoft's .cab files?  Or do M$ encrypt these?
