Update crashed internet connectivity
« on: March 17, 2013, 06:49:06 PM »
:'(I have 5 computers at my small shop. 3 are networked, use Norton360(ugh) subject for another day. They hardwired for the local Broadband, all running smoothly!! 2 computers in back not networked, this one which I keep for situations like this and a laptop.

Just background so you understand I know the problem is not the Broadband or cabling. Yesterday, I did an avast update 8.0.1483 on the laptop...1 hour later no internet access. I have done all the usual checking.. the program looks totally different, I really am at a loss and of course am  over my head thus trying this forum.

ANY SUGGESTIONS!!! Yes, other programs are running fine on laptop message says Firefox can't find the server at www.blahblah.com
