Avast and AdwCleaner
« on: March 18, 2013, 09:56:58 AM »
New version of AdwCleaner (2.115)  found:
Key found:HKCU\Software\APN PIP
Key found:HKLM\Software\PIP
Avast didn't find anything.Also,MBAM didn't find anythng.
I think this is false positive because a few weeks ago I had similar thing.
It looks like AdwCleaner always find something in registry after Windows updates.
Can anyone confirm this?

Yes,I know that,but I don't have any crap toolbar.
I am very careful about installing stuff.
You could say I am even paranoid.

OK,I've found out what these two registry entries are.
Two days ago I updated Zoom Player.Installer offered me to install
Nitro pdf reader or something and I declined that.Even if you
decline everything in installers, sometimes those registry entries
are added. It is safe to remove them with AdwCleaner.
