As the title says...

I've changed provider, and had honestly forgotten about Avast anti-theft. Phone number remains the same.

I cannot for the life of me remember my account info. How do I stop my poor brother from being spammed by anti-theft messages about "SIM changed - location..."?

Thanks in advance

Hello,

you don't really need your account info (email adress and password on our online portal). All you need to do is call your avast! PIN like you would do with a phone number to open Anti-Theft.

If you don't remember the avast! PIN, I would open my.avast.com in a browser and use the "forgot password" option to retrieve your online password. just try all your email adresses.

in the portal you can mark your phone "found" and change the avast! PIN aswell!

regards,

Werner

No accounts found at all - I don't use that many email adresses, so I'm stumped.

Have created a new account, but my phone won't register to it. Says my installation is too old, even though it's just updated. Uh?

Still stuck, and my brother's going nuts over the constant messages.
