pretty sure its not only one.com that hosts several sites on same ip, so no you cannot just ip ban and say its all good. Obviously it wont work that way.

Avast are quick to block malicious sites etc, however
They needn't be to quick in blocking a whole set of IP Adresses
which obviously contain non malicious websites.

No doubt Avast will learn from this and continue to be the top notch AV
for many a year to come.

Well the fp has been acknowledged. IP block has been lifted.

All well, but there are still "three bad apples in that single  IP" that have to be cleansed by the hoster.
Agree single IP blocks should come with domain exclusions and inclusions.
Also implementations of the avast! Network Shield should be tested before implemented,
