VBS Agent-AIG

OK, newbie here - please be gentle.

Got a problem after my son used my computer to download some music from a website he was told about. Yeah! I know - anyway, it appears that Avast detected the threat and moved it to the chest but, it would not clean it properly - it kept returning. The details are listed as VBS AGENT - AIG(Trj). Located in C:\ProgramData as ftofg.js -
I have deleted these files - but now, on starting the computer I get the message - There was a problem starting C:\PROGRA~3\gfotf.dat - the specified module could not be found

It seems as though this trojan can bypass Avast and remain n use.

Any ideas anyone - please.
Cannot seem to get rid of this message at all and I am sure it is part of this trojan as the date and time are all consistent.
