Hi,
I've been a user of avast since years.
Recently, i've updated to avast 8 then discovered an issue. I could not register my avast anymore. I had always an error with RPC. Then i looked more carefully to discover that i had no more a protection.
I decided to uninstall avast, by using not only the windows uninstall but also the unsintall utility in safe mode.
Now when i try to install avast 8, the setup stops at File Shield.
I've attached a print screen.....
What can i do ?
