This might sound dumb, but I cannot get avast to show up on my taskbar. I mean the little ball next to my clock  It does scans as I start them from my computer,  but am I missing something so that it is scanning all the time?  Please help.  Do I not have it set up right?

Have you another AV (or had) on your system, if so what?
Have you had any warning messages or errors?
What is your OS?
Do you have a program called spy sweeper?

RejZor's avast! External Control program may help restore the icons.
