When I run an "On-Demands Scans" of my entire system, avast! for Mac has false positives of infections in my VMware files. This is a known problem for avast! for Mac and can be solved for the "File System Shield" (real time component) by using exclusions. But there are no exclusions that I can find for "On-Demands Scans". So every time I run a "On-Demands Scans" of the whole disk I get false warnings of infections.
Any solutions to this?
My suggestion to AVAST Software a.s. is to make the exclusions global, or fix the problem of the false positives with VMware files which would be even better.
