what is the seventh Provider ?
« on: March 18, 2005, 08:33:47 PM »
when checking my avast home edition it states:

avast! scanner-access: 7 providers total,  6 active!

Now I don't seem to find the 7th provider! Would someone be so nice to help me ?

peace,

See Ms Outlook/Exchange plugin...

The message "The provider is waiting on the subsystem to start" will be shown there until you open MS Outlook.
The plugin will be enabled automatically after that.

It is likely to be the MS Outlook/Exchange provider, but you can check the avast help file for the seven resident providers, you should then be able to identify not only the one that is missing but whether there are some that you aren't using and can be terminated.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.3.6108 (build 24.3.8975.762) UI 1.0.801/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security
