Site Blocking

I am attempting to block two specific sites using the Avast site blocking piece, but these sites will not block. I can put in sites such as cnn.com and eweek.com and the blocking software works fine. Any ideas?

Site blocking only works for http.

Yes, this is true.  You can't block secure sites.
