How does one handle odd ball laptops and an enterprise license?

We have some laptops that do not often connect inside of our network - they are used mostly on the road.  Is there some way to use our license to install avast on those? or would we just use a regular standalone/public consumer sort of install?

It's best to just install the stand alone if the client will not connect to the console.
