Software Updater

It shows my Java isn't up to date but it is.  I clicked on fix umpteen times yesterday but it didn't work so I went to the Java website and updated Java.  Still showed it needed to be updated so I finally set it to ignore. 

I hate Software Updater and I don't want to use it so how can I get rid of it?

I can recall sometime awhile back that you asked how to uninstall Software Updater! have you forgotten already ;)

Remove it via the uninstall process in remove programs, click change and untick the box.
