Keep getting pop ups for Avast pro.

How can i get rid of the pro popups & just have Avast free version ?

What popups are you talking of? attach a screen shot if possible please.

What version of avast do you have installed?

You can adjust the duration of pop-ups. Settings>Pop-Ups  :)

I have version 8.0.1455
But it says pro version-expired but when i look at the tray icon it says your system is secured.
I keep getting Pop up to renew pro version.
How can i get rid of it ??????????????

1. Download avast! Free Antivirus: http://files.avast.com/iavs5x/avast_free_antivirus_setup.exe
2. Follow instructions: http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed avast! versions..!!)
3. Reinstall avast! with the downloaded installer from point 1.
4. Reboot.
