Strange problem using automatic program update
« on: May 14, 2013, 05:50:01 PM »
So here is my problem, since version 7 I've left automatic update program enabled.
The strage thing is that it never automatic updates, sometimes one of the 3 computers I have with Avast Free automatic update to the last program version (They all have the same specs and all run Windows 7 x64 with all the updates released), but on the other two I have to do the manual update, why is this happening since they all have been set to automatic update the program?
Another thing: sometimes they don't update unless I run the manual program updated.

Thanks for any reply.

when did first computer update..... and how long did you wait to see if the others updated?

with 170+ million users everyone dont get the program update at the same time
to avoid server overload the updates are spread over 2-3 weeks

The first computer updated Saturday. I waited till today to see what could happen.

So, despiste the fact that Avast is saying under Maintenance Tab that there is a new version, it will only update later?
