I know I have a choice of browsers, and I may have missed a minuscule check box to opt out, and yes developers want to make a living. It should by all means be an opt in. If you have a computer and are savvy enough to have an anti virus and firewall it stands to reason you have a browser of choice. All snide remarks aside above, the fact remains in my opinion, with the current set up of opt out, Avast has become an evil.
My Browser of choice is DUCKDUCKGo. Never heard of it check it out. There is no stopping the way the internet is nowadays with the mining of personal information, but personal decisions can show your dissatisfaction of the way it is. Do I have anything to hide, no, not that I am aware of. But I do mind when something invades my personal property as I feel Avast has done. In my humble ignorant opinion, Avast has become what it started out to protect. Take my opinion or leave it, I am expressing what I feel.
