I didn't receive any mail

I'm using Outlook express, I have configurated two accounts but I can't receive any mail, even if I send a mail from one of my account to the other! The mail starts correctly but I can't receive it with OE, while I can read it using web-mail.
Could you help me?

How?
Did you set OE like avast do not exist?

Hi, I have a new installation of windows xp professional. After having instlled the O.S. I added Avast. I need to do something in Outlook Express to work correctly with Avast ?
I had the same behavoior with Outlook Exchange too, I can receive only mail from accreditated user like my internet provider.

In fact not... if your configurations are ok, avast scans emails tranparently with avast...  ::)

Does it work when you terminate 'Internet Mail' resident provider in avast ?

No error messages ! I can send e-mail, but  I can't receive them even if I stop
the 'Internet Mail' Provider in avast.
I receive e-mail only from my internet provider www.libero.it.
Do I need to configure something in Outlook express?

It's not good stopping Internet Mail provider as you can avoid receiving mail or receive it infected.
Better is trying to solve the problem.

Did you check for POP3 scanning into Internet Mail provider settings?
Did you use the port 110 into avast settings and your email account advanced settings?
Is ashMaiSv.exe allowed to connect the Internet into your firewall settings?

If OE merely says 'No new messages', I think it's not a problem of avast. You should contact the mailbox provider, but first check if you are really tring to retrieve mail from the server that you intend.
