Avastsvc taking Huge amounts of cpu

AvastSVC was aking like 70-80% of my cpu when I was not doing anything om my computer.

What other security are you using along side Avast if any?

None, I reinstalled avast to see if it works. I have a feeling it was because I checked scan all files in the File Sheild

Well...if there was a lot of hard drive activity going on scanning all files with the field shield would increase cpu usage.

I checked scan all files in the File Sheild
That will do it.
Dell Inspiron, Win10x64--HP Envy Win10x64--Both systems Avast Free v17.9.2322, Comodo Firewall v8.2 w/D+, MalwareBytes v3.0, OpenDNS, Super Anti-Spyware, Spyware Blaster, MCShield, Unchecky, Vivaldi Browser and, various browser security tools.
