avast lost phone pin issue

i changed my sim today......i had forgotten that i had installed avast...when i switched it on,i got the 'your phone has been lost or stolen' message....when i try to send the recovery pin to another number,it says please try again
later.....I've been trying this from a long time.It's getting frustrating...please help.....is there any way of receiving the pin online?

that error occurs if due to system reasons the SMS could not be sent. did you pair your device to the my.avast.com account? you can change the PIN there.
