Java issue
« on: June 01, 2013, 04:46:34 AM »
Hey,
So the Avast software updater says that I need an update for Java 6.  Also, when on Oracles site using the Java removal tool that scans for old versions, the same Java 6 version shows up but fails to remove.  Java recommends I remove manually.  Uninstalling manually involves the Programs/Features to uninstall.  The only problem is that I do not have any remaining versions of Java in Programs/Features.  Where is Avast and Oracles removal tool scanning to come up with this version?  And how I remove it?  Any ideas?
